Do you see those dead and wounded? My great-grandfather spoke of seeing
the wounded and dying by the tens of thousands, screaming their lives
away over days.
As
a former infantryman, I ask, how can you NOT be anti-war? War has its
time and place, but it should be the last resort, not the first. If you
tell me that the glory of war is fleeting, more appreciated by those who
never go than those who do, then I am there.
