The Mehr News Agency, an official mouthpiece of the Iranian regime, also reported that a prisoner was condemned to the sharia law punishment of "cutting off one hand and one foot."

"Thirty-two registered executions were conducted after the protests by Bakhtiari compatriots in different cities of the country, probably with the objective of intensifying terror and preventing the spread of the uprising.
